Mission

Sudbury for Digital Balance (SDB) is a local, grassroots community organization that advocates for evidence-based policies and practices that support the well-being of children and teens in an increasingly digital world.

At the heart of our work is education, and our advocacy spans Sudbury schools, statewide initiatives, and national efforts addressing the broader impact of technology on childhood, including social media, smartphones, school technology, and the loss of play, independence, and real-world connection.

SDB serves as a resource for families, educators, schools, and community members that promotes gold standard approaches grounded in science that support meaningful learning, human connection, and safe, developmentally appropriate technology use.
